AH IMPROVED BUSINESS.

A. R. DtIRKAXT'S PHARMACY

Increasing bnsiner-;s, and ;i wish to extern! his general work, has cansei. Mr A. H. LniiTiutt, chemist, of Market Street North-, to remove into larger premise.l* at the corner ci" Alfred and Market Streets. The large shop has been altered to .suit his requirement^, and he will mako a speciality of eye-testing,and spectacle work, and also the work of a veterinary surgeon. For this purpose a consulting room and eye-testing parlour has been built, fitted with all the appliances necessary for such delicate work, and the premises generally have been elaborately fitted up for the .<business of an up-to-date chemist. Mr Durrant has had a wide experience in his profession, and this experience is at the service of his patrons. *A prominent feature of the shop fittings is a handsome matai show case, with full length mirrors let in, and nicely figured, the work of Mr A. J. Dowling, the art cabinetmaker of Market* Street. It is a beautiful piece of cabinet work, and is an ornament to the shop. The establishment now sets off what has been for some time a bare and ragged looking corner, and adds considerably to the look of the town; and it is a pleasure to note the fact that an enterprising business man has h;ad his reward in increasing business.
