AND HUMAN BONES

BROUGHT FROM PERU. [PKESS ASSOCIATION.] NEWCASTLE, June 15. While the barque Canterbury, fromi Eten, a small port oh the Peruvian; coast, was discharging her ballast- it was discovered that the latter contained human skulls and many leg and other bones. The captain states that great difficulty was experienced in obtaining; ballast. He noticed that it contained bones, but thought' that they wereanimal bones until they were dis-* charged. It is supposed that the ballast was taken from the site of an ancientf Peruvian town.
