CANADIAN PRESS AND THE CONFERENCE.
(Received June 13, 5.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 12. The Times's Ottawa correspondent states that the Conference has converted a section of the Canadian press which was recently disposed to make light of war prospects. The speeches! of Lord Rosebery, Sir Edward Grey and others created a profound impression. All the newspapers unite ml stating that Canada must realise her defence responsibilities.
