TERRIBLE EARTHQUAKE.
HOUSES COLLAPSE
[PIIESS ASSOCIATION.] (Receved June 13, 5.30 p.m.) PARIS, June 12. Two violent earthquake shocks oc-i curred throughout the Riviera. At Marseilles there was great excitement in the streets and cafes. Six Bbuches dv Rhone were plunged in darkness through the failure of the ■ electric light. The entire population of the town' remained outdoors till dawn. Houses collapsed in several towns. There were a few fatalities. Ships at Toulon strained theirr cables.
