NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
INCREASED ENTRIES. [press association.] PALMERSTON N., June 10. Details are available in connection with the entries received for the National Dairy Show, to be held during the present month, commencing on the 22nd instant. # The entries in the dairy produce section total 232, including 100 dairy factory butter, 104 factory cheese, 20 farmers' butter and 8 factory hams and bacon. The total received in. this class last year was 183. In the agricultural division the entries total 830, as compared with 542 last year. In the fruit classes the entries aggregate 235; vegetables, farm roots and produce 285; school competitions, etc., 67; home industries and preserves 170. There are 31 competitors in the milk-testing competition, the grand total this year being 1062, as against i 725 last year.
