To-night the Pollards will- make their, farewell appearance in- Blenheim, when they will produce the Oriental spectacular musical comedy, "His : Highness the Bey.'' Mr. Charles Albert as the fire-eating count has a part that gives plenty of scope to show His ability as an eccentric dancer. Mr Jock Willis^ who has T>een spoken of as the Harry Lauder of the Southern Cross, is cast for the part of /the Caliph of Haram, and the role gives ample opportunities of displaying his inimitable Scotch comedy; he will introduce, amongst others, the latest Ssotch speciality. Miss Cissie p'T^eefe^ the charming contralto, ■ Avilly, "by request,, sing "Down in the Deep." . The court festivities scene will be introduced -for the. first time here, which ■ embodies some new ballads and dances, viz., the Scarecrow ballet: (solo by Ivy Aldous); Harem ballet, solo by Dora Rodgers; Alma "Aldous, "Joshua," a neat song and dance; Minnie .Topping, coon song and dance, "Land of Nod "; and last, but riot least, Master Bert Nicholson in a budgetr, of comic songs.
