CASTLEFORD EXPELLED FROM

THE YORKSHIRE UNION

The Yorkshire VJup-tie between Headingley and Castleford on Saturday was the principal business considered at the meeting of the executive of the Yorkshire Rugby Union, held at Leeds on Monday. Mr Gil Evans, the referee, said the match was the worst he had ever seen, and he had never witnessed rough play like it.
