(Received May 15, 8.15 a.m.) CALCUTTA, May 14 Regarding the Commonwealth Government's statement that discarded rifles were twisted and flattened beyond repair before sale, the Calcutta newspaper The Englishman, insists that Martinis bearing ,thel Australian mark were smuggled as cabled They were found, mostly in the hands of .the largest frontier tribe The Englishman suggests that the weapons were originally part of a consignment sold to Australia by the Indian Government, and subsequently, when discarded, sold in open market without precautions ,
