WELLINGTON WOOL AND SKIN SALES.

Levin a.nd Co., Ltd., report as fellows:—We held our -fortnightly sale to-day, when we offered 30 bales of wool, 4700 skin®, 520 hides and calfskins, and a quantity of tallow am ■horsehair. There was the usual attendance of buyers, and bidding was quiet. Wool: Sold €'ii a par with, receait prices. We quote:—Crossbred fleece 5d to 6£d; best lambs' 7d to /£d; medium lambs' Sid to 6-Jd; pieces amd bellies 2d to 4d; locks lid to 23d. Skins: There was no change in the market. We quote:—Fine oi-ossba-edw Cd to 7d; crosskreds 54 to 6£d: dead skims 3d to od; dead hoggets 3d to Ud : green pelts 2s 6d to 3s 9d; lamb ski.no 2s Gel to 3s lid; lamb pelts Is to Is 9d. , . '. " Tallow: Firm. Parcels m shipping oa-de.i- £24; tins £18 to £20 10s; rough fat £10 io £15. Horsehair: Is to Is 4d per lb. Bowis: os to- 15s per hundred. Cow tail1;: Is 3d to Is 6d p&r dozen. Hides: Wo again brought forward a good catalogue, with calfskins in large demand, while ox and cow hides were firm at last sale's prices. We quote:— Ux hides (heavy) 6Jd to 7Jd; ox hides (medium) 6d to 7d; ox hides (light) 5d to 6d; cow hides 5d to s§d; cut asid slippy hides 2d to sd; stag hides 2*d to 4id; bull hides 2d to 4sd; call, best, 7£d to Bfd; calf, medium, 5d to 6|d; calf, cut and slippy, 3d to sd.
