NAPIER, May 11. ; Michael Kirby, of Hastings, a marTied man,"""aged 38' 3 died, in the hospital while under chloroform. In ,v fall over a doorstep on Saturday he fractured both bones of his left leg, and was brought into Napier for treatment. Drs^. W. Moore and Brett administered chloroform, and while under the influence of the anaesthetic the patient collapsed, and despite the efforts of the doctors failed to rally.
