In ,v fall over a doorstep on Saturday he fractured both bones of his left leg, and was brought into Napier for treatment. Drs^. W. Moore and Brett administered chloroform, and while under the influence of the anaesthetic the patient collapsed, and despite the efforts of the doctors failed to rally.
