Thursday

On Wednesday last a meeting of the Tailorlka liuckey Club \-cok -piaco, when it was decided to postpone the annual ball. The Secretary handed over the sum of £1 9s to Mr T. D. Taylor, secretary to the pavilion fund, to help pay off the debt on the pavilion. Altogether the members have given £4 15s towards the above fund, collected .from matches. Mr Roy and Mrs W. Price left yesterday for a holiday trip to the North Island. Mr and Mrs John Hughes, of Canvastown, leave to-morrow upon . a holiday trip.
