HEMP AND WOOL MARKETS

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., "Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their London house:—

Hemp.—Prices are lower and we now quote_good fair £25 to £25 10s per. ton. We do not expect the decline to last and* look for a reaction upwards. ' Wool.—The list of arrivals is closed, and, with the exception of the Aotea, all'have arrived in, time for the ensuing salesl The nevf arrivals have amounted to 318,000 bales, of which 132j000 bales have been forwarded dinrect to manufacturers at Home and abroad, leaving 263,000 bales available for sale (which includes 78,000 bales carried forward from the Mracb series).
