Veltheim, who is being tried for attempting to blackmail Mr Solomou
Joel, a financier, and a nephew of the late Mr Barney Barnato, has been remanded.
The prosecutor's cross-examination showed that Veltheirn claimed to be Mr Barnato's political agent. The prosecutor denied that Mr Barnato paid Veltheim £1500.
