CHRISTCHURCH, Sept, 24

John Gregory, a hand employed in the railway goods-shed, was this morning fined £5 and costs, or a month in gaol, for stealing six bottles of ale from a case in transit. The theft of goods in transit has been somewhat frequent lately.
