Onamalutu. — A correspondent writes :—One of the settlers in Onamalutu started a fire in a small way on Wednesday, with the result that it spread over many aore3. Mr White's tramway was in danger, and but for the active measures taken by bush and mill hands much of it must have gone. Considerable damage was done to the standing bush, and much timber ruined that should have come to the mill.
