Press Association. Electric TeUgraph Copyright, Oamabu, October 14. John Sinclair, an old and highly respected resident of Oamaru, and an , 'enthusiastic angler, was drowned this morning while fishing at theWaitakl river. He was standing on a shingle
bank at the mouth of the river, when lie was washed off by a wave and car* vied into the main stream. The body has not yet been recovered. Deceased was over 60 years and leaves a widow and grown up family. > ■ Nelson, October 14. Charles Dnnoan, a well known young man at Takaka, was killed this morning by a loaded dray overturning on him at his father's farm. The, horse became unmanageable while going down
a cutting. Death was instantaneous. Palmekston N., Ootober 15, An elderly woman named Larsen fell down in the street last night, and expired almost immediately. Death is ascribed to heart disease.
