SOUTH CANTERBURY v. WAIRARAPA.
Masterton, July 30.
The representative football match South Canterbury v. Wairarapa was played to-day. Tha ground was heavy. Rain fell towards the last. Wairarapa had the best of the game, bat had no Juclr. In the first spell E. Horean potted a goal for South Canterbury. McGuire scored a try for Wairarapa, Rogers converting. In fche second spell Grant kicked a penalty goal for the visitors. Towards the last Wairarapa penned the visitors repeatedly on the line. A. Oadwallader got over, but the referee did not see the score before the player was pulled off the ball. The visitors tIU3 won by 7 points to 5.
