Madame Melfea, in an interview, cjo clared that the success of her tour exceeded in every respect her anticipations. Australia, she said, had made enormous progress in musical arfc. All sections of the community were naturally musical. There was plenty of new material, and thore was no reason why Australia should not become one of the beat musical centres in the world.
