A, AND P. ASSOCIATIONS.

Press Association. Electric Telegraph,

Copyright,

Wanganui, April 15.

The annual meeting of the Wanganui Agricultural Association was held today. The report and balance»sheet showed the Association to be in a sound position. Mr J. H. Nixon was elected President. Considerable exception was taken to Pal merston North fixing its show dates on the dates of the Wanganuishow last year. It was resolved that in the event of Palmerston North adhering to its dates the Wanganui show be held a week previous. It was the unanimous feeling that the Wanganui Society was now in so sound a position that it should not be dictated to op have its claims jumped.
