SPRING CREEK ROAD BOARD. PROPOSED BY-LAWS. , IVTOTICE is hereby given that a 1-^ resolution has been passed by the above-named Board " That at a meeting of the Board to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 6th day of May, 1903, at 2.30 p.m., a Special Order will be passed making and adopting the following By laws regulating certain wheel traffic and imposing a license fee in respect of certain heavy traffic within the Spring Creek Road District"; the said By laws to come into operation upon their being gazetted. The object aud purport of the abovementioned By-laws are as follows : — To regulate the width of the tires of the wheels of certain vehicles engaged in heavy traffic. To regulate the quantity and weight of goods that may-be carried in each vehicle with the specified width of tire, and that may be drawn or transported by each traction or haulage engine or machine. ' To impose a yearly licensee fee of Twenty five Pounds (£25) for each traction or haulage engine or machine engaged in heavy traffic in the transportation of timber, wool, or other goods whatsoever. A copy of the By-laws is deposited for inspection at the Board's Secretary's Office at Grovetown, in the Provincial District of Marlborough. JOHN FAWCETT, Secretary. Grovetown, 6th April, 1903.
