Despite the previous veto by the Dominion of Canada, British Columbia has re-enacted anti-Mongolian legislation founded on the Natal Act, which provides for an educational test for Chinese and Japanese immigrants.. British Columbian legislators insist that the Balvation of the province is dependent on the exclusion of Orientals.
