CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA.
♦ TO THE EDITOR Sir,— Could you inform me if tho management propose to run a band at the above colonial gathering ; or do they trust to some noisy organ grinder or similnr organisation to entertain the public during the long and wearisome interval between each event. I remember the complaints that were universal over the omis Bion last time, and fervently hope the Committee will see their way to provide good music on this occassion. I also hope it is not thought tho public will be satisfied with a few strains by a visiting band from Wellington ; and I thus hope with the majority, I think.— l am, etc., Musical,
