CAPTURE OF BALTINO.
ESCAPE OF THE TURKISH GARRISON. ' Received April 14, 10.50 a.m. Athens, April 18. Baltino was captured by Greek irregulars after a desperate resistance. The Turkish garrison escaped during the night. A battalion sent to relieve the town was surrounded and routed with heavy loss. The Greeks have cut telegraph lines communicating with Grevania, and Janina m Albania. A force of 1000 Greek volunteers evaded the efforts of Delyannia to intercept them and crossed the frontier. It is their intention to endeavor to occupy Jania.
