In the affidavit of tlio Official Liquidators of the Ward Associa--1 tion, supporting the application to jj make a call, is set forth a schedule showing the total claims against the ' Association and the assets to meet " these, as follows :— Claims allowed, ) £32,069 6s 7d ; estimated expenses > of liquidation, £2500 ; claims not yet 1 adjudicated upon, £62 461 15s 4d. > Assets are—Cash m bank, £24,746 r 8s 6d ; value of stock and plant, es- ) timated to realise £1900; book debts, > estimated to yield £20,000 ; bank 1 balance trust account, £4,987 3s sd ; do special account, £3,099 16s 2d ; I estimated value of call, £4 per ahare, 5 £8,450 ; total £63,683 8s lOd. There , are 733 persons settled as contribuj tories for 15,233 shares. , The Supreme Court, on the appli- ( cation of Mr W. E. Cook, liquidator, , authorised a call of £4 per share m the J. G. Ward Association, calls amounting to £20 and under to be payable m two instalments at two \ and four months ; £20 to £100 m three instalments at two, four, and six months; £100 and upwards m four instalments at two, four, six, and eight months.
