For the First Eclipse Stakes, 500 soys, six furlongs, to be run at the autumn meeting, 1897, the number of entries is 87, of which Mr Thomas Morrin contributes 28; Mr Stead, 9 J Sir G. Clifford, 6; Mr Ormond and the Hon G. McLean, 4 each. For the Second Eclipse Stakes, of 1000 soys, autumn meeting, 1898, the number of entries is 74.
