[UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Hokitika, January 16. Almost daily claims are bottoming on the payable gold at Back Creek. Another rush took place on Saturday. The richest shaft yet bottomed has nine feet of wash dirt, all payable, four feet of it going six grains to the dish all (he way. At £ha present time eighteen claims are paddocking and getting ous wash dirt. Twenty thjree claims are' ou payable gold. The country is a large plateaux extending for miles.
