(Lyttelton Times, June 22). In the grain market during the week the quiet feeling previously n.oticed still continues. Transactions in wheat are limited, buyers being indifferent, while holders appear equally resolved to await further development. The Sydney advices do not show any improvement, the market there being described as quiet, with sales difficult to make. Locally, values during the latter part of the week have slightly receded. Tuscan is quoted nominally at 3s 7d to 3s 8d; Pearl, 3s 3d to 3s 4d; Hunter's 3a 2d to 3s 3d. Oats remain firm at 2s ty& to 2s lOd for milling, and 2s 8d to 2s 9d for stout feed; long sorts and inferior, 2s 6d to 2s 7d. Barley. — Market unaltered.
