ARREST OF IRISH PATRIOTS. A NOVEL EAH/WAY ACCIDENT. LIFEBOAT FATALITY. (UNITED PIIESS ASSOCIATION.) London, Nov. 14. Mr Timothy Harrington, M.P.. for DubJin Harb.or, has been arrested on the charge of aiding the Plan of Campaign. Several officials of the National League are to be arrested on a similar charge. At Manchester to-day a goods train, travelling on the overhead line railway, toppled into the street below. Fortunately no lives were lost, .but several people were injured. A brig, entering the river Tees, struck a sandbank, and lifeboats were proceeding to the stranded vessel to bring the crew ashore, when one capsized. Eight men were drowned m full view of the crowds of spectators assembled on shore. A woman m the crowd dropped dead with excitement. The brig's crew were subsequently Bately landed.
