Regarding this matter, we learn that in 1879, the present debtor was adjudioated a bankrupt upon the petition of his creditors, and Mr C. Griffith, of Blenheim was appointed Trustee. Through some informalities in the proceedings at that time, however, the bankruptcy was not completed. From then the debtor has paid his way, but of late some of his old creditors have commenced to press him, and consequently he determined to go through the Court afresh. At the time of the former bankruptcy proceedings' becoming hung up, it is alleged that the Trustee had some £60 in hand, and it will be observed that this is now put down as an asset.— Nelson Colonist.
