FURTHER DISTURBANCES IN IRELAND. [reuteb's telegrams.] London, Jnne 8. The homeward Australian mails, via Brindisi, which left Melboarne on 25th April, were delivered here to-day. The Otago harbour works loan, of £100,000, waß placed m market to-day. Arrived —Ships Lochnager, from Napier j British Sceptic, from Port Chalmers ; Palala, from Lyttelton; Dunloe, from Aucklond. June 9. At the wool sales to-day, 11,400 bales were offered, and prices showed a hardening tendency. 9000 bales have been withdrawn from sale, since the opening. In the House of Cornrrons to-day, a resolution was agreed to, setting forth that any fresh commercial treaty with the French Government would be unsatisfactory, unless it provided for a reduction of import duties levied by France. News has been leceived to-day from Ireland, reporting that disturbances m the neighbourhood of Cork nave been renewed. Further riots have occurred between police aud peasantry, and general disorder prevails m the district, Paris, June 9. The Senate to-day threw out the bill which passed the Chamber of Deputies last month, providing for the adoption of Scrulinde Lisle m place of Scrulin DArrondksenient.
