A SINGULAR ACCIDENT.

A man named 0 Brieri, Sergeant-Major of the Rifle Battalion, met with a singular accident at the Auckland.Timber Company's Sawmill. While working at a circular saw, a splinter of wood flew and piercing his cheek and tongue, transfixed them. He had to be fed with a tube, but it is believed he will recover shortly. :;
