To Stana this Season, nnHE PURE-BRED CLYDESDALE X STALLION, YOUNG CONQUEROR. Young Conqueror is a beautiful Bright Bay, stands 16 hands lugn, with immense bone, is perfectly sound, has an excellent temper, and is the pure type of a Clydesdale horse. He was bred by the Hon. W. Robinson, Esq., of Cheviot Hills, out of his imported mare Betty, which gained third prize at the Royal Battersee Show ; by Royal Conqueror, imported by H: Redwood, Esq. Royal Conqueror took first prize as the .best two-year old m 1862, at the Royal Battersee -Show, beating a large field of horses. Young Conqueror will call at Spring Creek Farm on Thursdays, Tua Marina and stop the night at the Half-way House will stop at Spring Creek Farm on Friday' nights, and will be at Ewart's stables on Saturday, and home the remainder of the week. T!e is a dark dapple grey, seven years old, stands ]Gf. hands high, with tremendous bone and substance, good action, and mild temper. PEDIGREE: Lord Clyde was got by Sir Colin Campbell, out of Nora, both the property of Mr James Walla, Kaiapoi Island. Sir Colin Campbell was got by tbe celebrated King Fergus, imported by D. Innis, Esq. King Fergus was frot by Lord Byron, the property of Mr Proudfoot, Lochtnaben, Dumfrieahire, Scotland. Lord Byron gained the first prize of £40 at Annan, when four years old ; his stock have gained prizes wheieever shown. Lord Byron by Old Prince, who gained the second prize at Edinburgh, likewise first prize at Aberdend Highland Society's Show; Old Prince is by Old Prince Royal. King Fergus was bred by Mr Muir, Lochfergua, Kircudbrightshire, out of his prize mare, bred by Mr Frame, Bloomfield, Lanarkshire. He gained no fewer than seven first prizes at home, and many m Canterbury. Sir Colin Campbell's Warn, Scotland's Pride, was imported by Mr Lt-e, and sold 10 Mr James Walls,' Kaiapoi Island, for the sum of £250 ; this mare gained the first prize at the Highland Society^ Show, afc Dumfries ; she was out of that well known Sniituson stock, by the celebrated Clydesdale horse Lofty, who was the winner of many prizes at Home. Sir Colin Campbell; the sire of Lord Clyde, has gamed no less than five first prizes, and the dam Nora many prizes likewise. Lord Clyde will be at Ewart's Hotel, Blenheim, every Wednesday and Saturday; and at Wairau Valley on Mondays should sufficient inducement offer ; the lemainder of the week at his stables, Renwick Town.
