After proceeding round the town, headed by a Band, the Procession will mai’ch to Amersfoort, where RUSTIC SPORTS & GAMES will be carried on during the day, as follows : 1. — Stilt Race, Step 2 feet from ground, on own stilts ; entrance, s ; prize, 2. Hop, Step, and Jump ; entrance, s ; prize, 3. Three-Legged Race ; entrance, s ; prize, 4. —High Leap ; entrance, s ; prize, 5. — Baiting the Bear ; entrance, s ; prize, 6. — Foot Race, 150 yards, open Oddfellows and Foresters only ; entrance, s ; prize, 7. Sack Race ; entrance, s; prize, 8. Smoking Foot Race, 300 yards; entrance, o.— Hurdle Race, for boys under fifteen ; 12 ’jumps ; entrance, s ; prize, 10. Foot Race, 100 yards, for boys under 14 years, being sous of Oddfellows or Foresters ; entrance, s ; prize, 11. Walking Match, 1 mile ; entrance, s ; prize, 12!— Jingling Match ; entrance, s ; prize, 13. Donato Race ; entrance, s ; prize, 14. Paper Hunt, on foot. Dancing, &c.
