MARLBOROUGH CUSTOMS DUTIES.
The .following is an abstract of a return showing the amount of duties paid at the several ports of this Province during the year ending Dec. 1871 :
—lt must be remembered that large as some of these items app ■•ar in proportion to the population of these districts, the sums paid as Customs Duties are not conclusive as to the quantities as these may be paid in other Provinces and accounted for in their returns. In other words goods which are imported duty paid are not included in the above.
