NELSON, Juno 4.—Stocks of all kinds are ,now. very fully supplied, , by the arrival of the Algernon from London, after an average passage of lib days. She had a had start, being detained a considerable time in the channel. The Ballarat will arrive in about six weeks from this date, so that what with the goods in hand, these now arrived, and the shipment expected, especially taking into account the dulnesa of trade and the slowness with which West Coast demands arrive, there is the likelihood of a very full market, in all descriptions of imported stock. Flour is easier in price than it was a month ago, having receded per ton, the rate now being & 23, and although prices are not expected to decline materially during the winter, it is not likely that they will go higher. Generally speaking there is no improvement to note since last month, and as we have said only a-very limited trade has been
done vrith; the. West., l Coast. With the exception of sugars and spirits, prices have a backward tendency.— Colonist.
