A huge timber-yard is en fire at Yarmouth (Norfolk), an area of 200 yard:-: square being ablaze. Burning debris is floating on the river, endangering shipping, which has been towed to safety. FIRE IN QUEENSLAND. FIVE SHOPS DESTROYED. BRISBANE, Sept. 28. Five shops were destroyed by fire at Oharlesville. The damage is estimated at £25,000. The premises destroyed included Carter's offices, Mr En Wright's chemist's shop and news agency, and Mr Fitzwaiter's large store.
