A bag of iron washers was found k a Vault instead of gold. \ -""V The employees are under suspicion. TRIFLING LOSS. Received September 29, 9.30 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO. Sent. 28. A recount of the money of the Mint disclosed the fact that the real loss is trifling. The money which it is suspected has been robbed is thought to ba really stored elsewhere.
