In. regard to the arrest of five men in connection with a plot to destroy the house of the Premier, the confession made by one of them stated that a Syndicalist group selected five men to throw a bomb at Senlior Costa's house and when Senhor Costa appeared l at a window he was to be immediately shot and the War Minister (Colonel Correia Barredo) assassinated. In the confusion that would ensue armed groups were to liberate the prisoners and initiate a general revolt. AN ALLECED CONFESSION. Received September 29, 8.30 a.m. MADRID, Sept. 28. The Royalists who have been arrested are alleged to have confessed that they were hired to foment disturbancea in isolated warts of the country in order to mask the movements of the regularly ■recruited troops in the North under the command of a naval officer.
