LAWN TENNIS. BALFOUR CLUB. A meeting of the Balfour Tennis Club was held oil Saturday evening (writes a correspondent), Mr G. Fowler presiding, it was decided to open the new asphalt court on Ijabor Day, the event to be made public with an invitation to all in the district to attend. It was decided to make all those who had subscribed towards the now court honorary members tor the coming season. A hearty vote <>i' thanks was passed to all those who had helped to make the last concert a success, especially to the performers;. Great interest is being displayed by members and the public in the new court, and this augurs well for the future progress of tennis in the township.
