Ho proceeded to denounce this law as based on sentimentality and unfair to woman, since the marriage contract imposed on the husband tho duty of supporting the wife and the children of the marriage. Ail innocent woman induced to enter marriage bv fraudulent representation had to suffer under this anomalous condition of the law.
