WEATHER FORECAST.

The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast is as follows:—Cloudy and unsettled weather has prevailed, and rain has fallen on the east coast of the South Island. The barometer has risen in the South, with eastesly winds. There has been little movement in the North, where westerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for a temporary rise in the South, with northerly winds to be followed by a further change in the barometer. Humid and changeable weather is likely to continue, and a definite rise in the barometer is due to take place on Friday night or Saturday morning.
