SMALL BOYS ATTACK A MAN. A peculiar occurrence has been reported at Armidale (says the Sydney 'Daily Telegraph';. Itappears that two small boys had a grievance against a man- named Davies, one of the local sanitary employees. The boys waited till Davies was leaving his home after dinner and then opened fire on him with catapults. Davies was completely taken by surprise and was unable to escape the volley discharged at him. One of the missiles struck him in the eye and another on the chin, both momentarily dazing him. "When he recovered himself again his youthful assailants had fled. The man had to seek medical assistance, when it was lound that his eye had been seriously injured.
