WEATHER FORECAST.

The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast is as follows:—The barometer lias fallen everywhere during the past thirty-six hours, with increasing humidity and cloudiness. Rain set in today in most parte southward of New Plymouth and Napier, and is also threatening elsewhere. Present indications are for a further barometric pressure and a continuance of cloudy and unsettled weather. Rain is probable generally, with rivers flooded on the West Coast. Freshening northerly winds are probable everywhere. The barometer may continue low and unsteady until Friday, and afterwards rise steadily.
