The oats market is firm but the supply meets the demand. The price of New Zealand short oats and Sparrowbills, on spot, ex granary, is 19s 3d per 3841b ; New Zealand, Danish oats, 18s per 3201b. I
The beans market remains firm at 40s 6d for New Zealand f.a.q. old crop. Tho pea market is firm but business is dull on account of the high prices. New Zealand partridge peas are worth 56s per 5041b. The wool market is firm with more inquiry. The market is affected by the /.eneral improvement in trade and is advancing owing to the strong demand. Hops remain firm, there being a general and active demand.
The annual picnic in connection with Holy Trinity Sunday School will be held at Croydon Bush on Wednesday.
