THE YORKSHIRE NIGHTINGALE.
CONCERT TO-NIGHT. To-night in the Town Hall the Yorkshire Nightingale (Mr Enos Bacr.n) will hold a grand recital. In Wellington and Dunedii) crowded houses greeted Mr Bacon, ajnd the unanimous oninion of all who wtrc privileged to hear him is that "his entertainment is a marvellous feat for pne man to perform." He not only singp in two voices, but he is a most brilliant elocutionist and moves his hearers from laughter to t'.ars at will. He regains the interest of the audience from start to finish, and in the singing pf songs where tie two voices are brought into play his hearers are spcll-bouqd with amazement. Tho Wellington 'Eost' says of his performances in the Town Hall in that city:— "He kept a/large hall full of ueople amused for tVo hours without a break. . . . He sang now baritone, now soprano: he sai\g one line like a man, the next like a lonian; he even sang one word soprani the next baritone. . . Tho entertainment was really ndmirable. Mr BScon performed a .narkable feat, foj be not only held the in-' terest of Wmaudience to the em], but showed no agns of fatigue himself."
