FOOTBALL. DISTRICT .MATCHES. The weekly mooting of the Kastern District Sub-Union .was held lust, evening. Excelsior ,11. lodged a protest against the Menzies Ferry Club for playing a senior player in the match on Wednesday last. It was decided to .declare the match void, and to ask the player for an explanation of his .conduct. The Pioneer Club was granted permission to play ail A and a .1) team in , the junior grade. Three Wyndliani players were re-graded as juniora on the understanding that if they again wanted to play as seniors they would have to apply for permission.
