The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) report having held their regular auotion sale at Clinton on Thursday, 4th inst., and, owing doubtless to tha weather being very favorable, there wa«* a good attendance of dealers, farmers) and others interested, most of whom came . there to do business j and with only a moderate eutry, principally sheep, all forward were readily placed— crossbred, hoggets fetching lOs 9d to 6b 6d, small crossbred ewes (dry) Os to 9*3 6J, a few cows and heifers L 5 5. to L 5 10*?. mmmm?mmuammmammammmmmmmmmmmmm
