These take place on the Wantwood conrse to-day, and given line weather there should be a large attendance, The train arrangements are very. complete : a special, leaves Gore at 11 ' this morning, and on- the return journey leaves Mandeville at 6.30 p.m. This allows Invercargill visitors the privilege of seeing the races with the loss of only one day. lhe np-train on the Waimea line will not leave Mandeville till 6 30 p.m. " Peeping Tom's " estimate-of the day's results is bb follows :— , .
