: A.t a meeting of the School Committee ' held on Friday last, Messrs Dickson (chairman), Smith, Grant, Dryden, and i Marjoribank (secretary) attended. -The Inspector's report of his surprise visit to the school was read, and a vote of, I' thanks passed to tbo teacher, congratulating him on same. The following v Fs a copy of the report above alluded to:^; 1. Standards and Teachers. Infants and Standards Ito VII. Mr Overton, teacher. ; 2. 'Organisation of No. I— Satisfactory. :\B. Ihe time-table appears to work very, well; and it is consistently adhered to. i 4. Mr' Overton has the interest of his ' School at henrt. ; He evidently plans his day'swork, thtfs packing as much .work as I possible into the limited time at his disppsal, . His methods are satisfactory, and his manner of applying them energetic, ( 5. Order and discipline are good, The pupils are.obedient and diligent. . ■ Qi Supervision in recess — Satisfactory. ; 7.
