THE VERDICT.

He had told his partner that he had received the cheque \ apd that he intended to and was paying certain accounts out) of it— this before the information was laid for embezzlt- ' nieht; I think, on tho whole, the cvi- ' dence shows that Simson is free from the 1 charge and that he has noi been guilty of , embezzlement. He may have acted irijttdicibusly, but that would hot warrant me in sending him to a higher Court for trial..
